The Carefree Bride was begun in 1982 by Janet Ellinwood, because she knows that your wedding day is one of the most important events that takes place in your lifetime, and she wants to help you make it memorable. With her unique background and experience, she can help you create the Wedding of your dreams.

Carolyn Kinnaird joined The Carefree Bride in 1994, adding her creative skills, sense of style and attention for detail.

Janet Ellinwood started "The Carefree Bride" in 1982.

Since 1983, Janet has been certified by the National Association of Certified Wedding Consultants (NACWC).

In 1986, she served as consultant for the Gallo commercials "A Tribute to Weddings", which featured five different weddings.

Janet had a 16 year career at I. Magnin, the last two years as Department Manager and Assistant Buyer of the Bridal Department.

She taught "How to Plan A Perfect Wedding" and "How To Be A Wedding Consultant" at the Learning Annex for five years.

Carolyn Kinnaird joined "The Carefree Bride" in 1994.

Since that time, she has coordinated weddings north and south of San Francisco and, on several occasions, on the Bay itself.

Regardless of the location or complexity, Carolyn brings to each wedding an uncommon attention to detail that gives clients the assurance that their big day will, indeed, be carefree.

When creative solutions are called for, Carolyn has a natural sense of style that can make a special day even more memorable.
